Sauna Cabana: A Day Off

The last day I took off was for a root canal last year. That was fun.

I’ve worked for 10 years now in the business and I don’t ever recall an employer ever encouraging me to take time off. They never will encourage you to take the time if they feel it’s a detriment to the business but as a human, as a creative, as a parent. We all need a day.

Funny as that is… I have to do my taxes and what better day to do it than on my day off with no kids screaming. Can you believe that? Filing taxes is getting me excited. Talk about a dad moment.
