It’s good to know when you’ve done what you could.

It’s good to know when you’ve done what you could.
Asking people to change their behavior in an organization creates fear and lowers self-esteem, as it communicates that existing skills are clearly no longer valued.

Somewhere between the children screaming, my son running around trying to get attention, my wife telling me to do the dishes… I exist.
The kids went to bed about 10 minutes. I’m tired. I could say deeply tired, but I don’t want to. Mentally, I’m drained because I have to perform at work every day. Work can feel like a sprint, and just because I don’t complain doesn’t mean I am okay with that.
Long term, I’m doing what’s best for the family. I’m hoping in the next 3 months I can get some sun back and go on walks again. Seeing friends would be good too. My focus has gone from outward in and my desires from must-haves to have-nots.
The kids are asleep so I’m looking at stocks in the AM. A few months ago I discovered the ETrade website displays additional indices other than the Nasdaq and the S&P500.
I’ve been following the PHLX semiconductor index and waiting for a moment to buy in. The index itself is up 47% this past year compared to the other publicly compared indexes.
Investco has an etf that tracks that index. It’s called the Invesco PHLX Semiconductor ETF (SOXQ) which has in a few years under its belt compared to the iShares Semiconductor ETF (SOXX) valued at 597.77 at the time of this post with 20+ years being listed.
As always need more money to buy in at such a high entry point. Time to get to work!
My son’s 529 is up 33% and I need to figure out how to get those gains. Kid made more money than I did last year in the market!
I just did 25 push ups before I hopped into a 140 degree sauna. Hope I don’t have a heart attack. I’ve been working through how people single handed my enjoy complicating situations. I’m not sure if it’s an inmate human desire to complicate things or if it stems from fear of the unknown. George Carson once said “Direct Honest Communication” was gone. People don’t die anymore they “passed away” Disabled people were “cripples’ and words were at the time sharper than a spear. My interpretation of a time I was not apart of.
Sweats coming. I’d like some tea.
I took a look at ADP today.

The EPS seems to trend upward every year but entry point is a bit high for my blood at $235.28.
